When the roof finally demands a decision, we make it simple
Most owners don’t think about the roof until a leak or an aging system forces the question: what do we do now? East Coast Renewable takes that question off your plate. We inspect, explain the options in plain language, and manage the work, which is installed by vetted contractors in our network.
No upfront charge to inspect. We look forward to understanding your needs.
Why small roof issues deserve attention now
A worn seam, a clogged drain or a failing flashing detail on a low-slope roof rarely stays small. Water can travel before it shows up inside. Finding it early usually keeps the fix small too.

Start with a documented evaluation
We walk the roof, check the interior signs, photograph what we find and explain the options in plain language before any recommendation.
There is no upfront charge to inspect your roof. We are glad for the opportunity, and we look forward to getting to know you and understanding what your building needs.
How we decide: Repair. Relationship. Restoration.
Repair first
We solve the problem before we sell a solution. If a repair or a maintenance plan is the right answer, that is what we recommend: what is needed, not what can be sold.
Relationship
Trust comes before the transaction. Roof decisions often take months or years. We stay available and in touch, and we do not need your business today.
Restoration
Preserve what can be preserved, restore what can be restored, replace only when necessary. If your roof is not a restoration candidate, we will say so.
What we value

Conklin restoration systems
Our mission commits us to advancing commercial roof restoration and supporting proven technologies such as Conklin roofing systems (Conklin Company, Inc., conklin.com). East Coast Renewable is a Conklin Independent Approved Vendor. After years of researching commercial roofing systems, our view is that Conklin keeps coming out on top. Whether a Conklin system fits your roof is decided by the evaluation.
Why Conklin? Our founder explains how curiosity about restoration grew into conviction, and why we recommend what the property needs rather than the largest project. Read our founder’s perspective →
How restoration works: not an overhaul, an adjustment
1. Inspect
We walk the roof and document what we find. There is no upfront charge to inspect.
2. Qualify to spec
Every Conklin system we install has to meet the manufacturer’s specifications. That can mean clearing loose gravel, making minor repairs, and replacing damaged sections so they work with the new system.
3. Coat
The coating and topcoat go on, forming a seamless coating over the prepared roof.
4. Relationship & maintenance
We stay in touch with scheduled check-ins and maintenance to help the system keep doing its job.
Whether a roof qualifies is decided at inspection. Not every roof does, and we will tell you if yours does not.
Restoration is not the lesser option
Restoration is not a patch job or a budget compromise. Done to spec, it builds on a sound existing roof instead of throwing it away, with less disruption than a full tear-off and less waste sent to the landfill. For roofs that qualify, we see it as more than the traditional approach, not less.
Restoration may also offer tax advantages in the right circumstances. Treatment depends on your situation, so please consult your tax advisor. Where a roof does not qualify, we recommend replacement and explain why.
